Expert care, better health for our pets.
We connect pet parents and primary care vets with specialist veterinarians all over the world – through telemedicine – to boost communication and help pets get faster, and more accurate treatment decisions when they need it most.
We aim to help professionals share vital knowledge, collect standardized medical records, uncover data-driven insights, and create tools that improve diagnostics and enable more effective treatment. We want to ensure pets and their owners have longer, happier, more fulfilling lives together.
Together we can revolutionize pet healthcare.
Make sure your pet gets the specialized care needed when they have health problems – and stay involved every step of the way.

We connect pet parents and primary care vets with specialist veterinarians all over the world, through sharing information, messages, chats and video calls.
We ensure medical records meet both the SNOMED CT healthcare terminology standard and the FHIR data exchange standard. We also provide all information in formats that both vets and pet parents can understand.
We deliver interactive care plans – including alerts, reminders, to-do-lists, videos, and evidence-based education. We also provide dashboards that monitor pet health; allowing vets to intervene sooner with at-risk patients. We also offer clinical documentation tools that display patient details in a query-friendly way.
We promote better collaboration between all parties through several communication tools – and by sharing patient information with everyone involved.
We empower pet parents by giving them total access to their pets’ clinical data, diagnosis, and treatment information. We empower veterinarians by enabling them to collaborate with professionals all over the world, and by offering access to standardized datasets as well as animal health insights, and tools developed to aid diagnosis and treatment.
Our long term goal is to build powerful datasets that allow us and the veterinary community to use artificial intelligence in order to improve animal health.
How VetCase was born.
Jimena has been an animal lover since ever, always dreaming about having a dog. But her parents weren’t so keen, so when she left their home immediately looked for a dog, this is when Tommy arrived in her life. An adorable, intelligent, and funny wiener dog!
Throughout these 12 years, they have been inseparable, without a doubt, Tommy has made Jimena's life a lot better, but unfortunately, not all have been good times. Due to breed and genetics issues, he has suffered several diseases, even right now he has a heart tumor, which is luckily reducing with chemotherapy.
He’s a fighter and has always recovered, but providing Tommy with the best possible care has been extremely difficult – mostly when he needed specialized care, like an oncologist, which saved his life.
As a developer and data scientist, Jimena thought that a technology solution could help other pets and pet parents that were facing the same problems that Tommy and she. Deciding to put her skills and knowledge to good use, VetCase was born.
When Jimena told her sister Lucía about this project, she instantly knew that she had to join it. With more creative, communications-based experience Lucía brings a different, but equally important, skillset to the table. Besides, she is Kiro’s parent, a 14-year-old quiet, and easy-going golden retriever, which has also needed specialized care, so she can relate to this problem.
While the sisters have made a good deal of headway, both know that they have a long way to go to make VetCase a reality. But they are both committed to helping pets and parents across the world enjoy happier, healthier, longer lives together.
